About Me
Hi I’m Craig, I am a fully qualified personal trainer with a long-term love for sport and fitness from an early age, playing semi pro football and starting my own children’s football coaching company, I developed an interest in the gym since the age of 16 and over the years tried different forms of training and exercise to develop myself with a focus on bodybuilding. I believe physical strength and development can help with mental strength and growth. The gym is a place to escape the daily grind, to focus on yourself and get enjoyment from your sessions while reaping the benefits physically.
I believe being a personal trainer it is important to lead by example and live a fit and healthy lifestyle. For 10 years I have been focused on building strength and size. I am completely a natural bodybuilder and my body type doesn’t lend itself naturally to this, I was super lean growing up with an athletic body, I was fast and fit but not naturally muscular. I am also fairly tall with a fast metabolism, so building size was not easy at the start. There was a lot of frustration and a lot of dedication required and trying different things until I found the ‘golden recipe’ that worked.
I understand the hard work and effort that goes into it, I also have experienced setbacks and challenges along the way, including broken bones and serious illnesses that have stopped me training for weeks at a time. I believe a training session in the gym will be hard work yes, but it will also be very rewarding and the pleasure and enjoyment you can get is an amazing feeling. Being able to see the changes in your body and in your attitude towards training is always worth the grind you put into it.
